These terms govern your use of ToolForUser (the "site"), provided by ToolForUser ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. The service

The site offers free online tools that run in your web browser. No account is required. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and we do not guarantee that the site or any tool will always be available.

2. Your files and content

Files and text you process remain yours. They are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for having the necessary rights to the files you process and for keeping your own backups. Always keep the original file until you have checked the result.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, or to process content you are not allowed to use
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its hosting infrastructure
  • copy or redistribute the site as your own service in a way that misleads users about its origin

4. Accuracy of results

We try to make every tool correct and to document its limitations on its page. However, results are provided for general information and convenience. Calculators, converters and validators can contain errors, and output files may differ from what you expect depending on your browser and input. Do not rely on the tools as your only source for financial, legal, medical, engineering or other important decisions; verify important results independently.

5. No warranty

The site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Third-party content and advertising

The site may contain links to other websites and, if enabled, advertisements served by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, products or advertisements.

8. Intellectual property

The site's design, text and code are protected by copyright. Open-source components are used under their respective licences, listed on the about page.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
